Artistic landscape
The vineyard is planted after the artworkTargets by Russian artist and architect Alexander Konstantinov.
Just like in that artwork, the 32 rows of vines follow a circular shape. From the air, you can see Le Maar as an actual target. That gives insanely cool shots and phenomenal experiences for Drone fans!

To discover Le Maar in its full individuality, you are welcome to attend one of our activities. As picking or pruning days are often only known just beforehand, it is best to follow our social media to be well informed of our plans.

If you want to see the unique vineyard apart from our events, you are of course more than welcome. You can always drop by on a cycling trip through Haspengouw. Feel free to contact us if you would like to arrange something.

Artistic residencies
We are always looking for artists who want to help shape Le Maar's artistic DNA. Le Maar offers residencies to international young artists who want to explore Haspengouw and Belgium, and are interested in our unique context.
Inspiring environment
Le Maar gives artists the chance to live and work outside their normal environment. With us, they are given a stay in nature, space to think, research and produce artistic work.
Artistic connections
Le Maar organises several events in the autumn that can help highlight your work. We will also put you in touch with various local artists, cultural houses and galleries.
Projects
We are open to various projects. We are happy to discuss with possible candidates what they have in mind, and together we will find a nice interpretation for the period of residency.
