Racso Jugarap
Filipino wire artist Racso Jugarap (1989) is rapidly emerging. He brings people together through his unique and contemporary wire art. In 2015, the artist chose Belgium as his home, specifically Zoutleeuw.
During Hao Huang's art residency, we got in touch with Racso, and since then, he has become a close friend of Le Maar. In 2024, we embarked on a unique collaboration together.
World class Wire Art
Racso Jugarap is largely self-taught. Through extensive experimentation with materials, he learned how different materials behave.

He weaves wires by hand into organic and asymmetrical shapes. Curvatures have always been an important element in his work, as well as biomorphic and organic forms.
In 2024, Racso was selected as one of the 30 finalists for the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize for his work Echinoid.
Nocturnal Bliss
In 2024, Racso Jugarap worked on a beautiful sculpture for a restaurant in Sydney. For Le Maar, Racso is making a miniature version of this work. The result? 60 uniquely decorated wine bottles in Belgium, and their 60 counterparts in Australia (in collaboration with Australian vineyard Mount Monument ).
Nocturnal Bliss captures the artist’s deep connection to the night, where creativity blossoms in the darkness. In the silent embrace of the night, the artist finds peace and fulfillment, channeling this energy into elegant wire sculptures that adorn each exquisite bottle of red wine. Each artwork reflects the artist’s inner calm, with the delicate twists of golden wire illuminating the darkness and adding a touch of enchantment. This invites wine lovers to savor not only the refined taste, but also the ethereal beauty of the nocturnal world.
