Irony in Nieuwerkerken
It is finally here! After an absence of several years, the artwork Irony Energy by Aleksandr Konstantinov has returned to Nieuwerkerken. The local council has installed this monumental work at the former radar site behind Ambachtstraat, in close proximity to Le Maar.
On September 27, 2026, the municipality of Nieuwerkerken will officially inaugurate the artwork. What’s more, the annual apple-picking day at Peeters Farm takes place that same day. All the more reason for Le Maar Vineyard to join in the festivities!
Concert Floris & the Flames
On Sunday, 21 September 2025, an open-air concert took place at Le Maar for the third time. And what a concert it was!

Floris and The Flames provided an unforgettable musical experience amidst the vines. Many thanks to OKRA Academie Limburg for the fantastic organisation of this concert.
